Justice Baragwanath has recently been appointed Honorary Professor at University of Waikato’s Faculty of Law.  Justice Baragwanath is an AMINZ Judicial Associate member.  He was appointed to the High Court in 1995, the Court of Appeal in 2008 and presides in the Court of Appeal of Samoa.  He is also a New Zealand member of the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague. 

The professorial appointment takes effect in August when Justice Baragwanath retires from the Court
