LLM, AAMINZ, Mediator and Barrrister
David Hurley has been mediating since 1991 and has had
experience of over 3000 cases. He has been a regular
contributor to AMINZ sessions, and also many groups
associated with the industrial field; and as well
LEADR (local and international conference, also a training
coach), Wellington and New Zealand Law Societies (local and
Triennial Conferences). Overseas he has presented papers
to a (formally) SPIDR AGM (Los Angeles 1996) and to
Greenwich University (London) as part of their training
programme for ACAS mediators (2008). Whilst primarily
focussed on industrial cases including collective bargaining,
he has also mediated for the Waitangi Tribunal and handled a
number of commercial and family cases referred
privately.
