John Larmer is a New Plymouth based rural specialist being a registered valuer and property advisor with a nationwide practice as part of the TelferYoung group.

A past President of AMINZ and also of New Zealand Institute of Valuers, he was on the Valuers Registration Board for some years and is currently an additional member of the High Court for land valuation proceedings.

He is an experienced arbitrator active in all forms of dispute resolution in the rural sector and chairs the Conciliation Panel established by Order in Council to deal with disputes arising from sharemilking agreements subject to statutory oversight.
