Affiliates have access to the membership services, including training, education, seminars and conferences, membership resources, newsletters and the members’ area of the website.
Affiliates do not have designatory letters available to them and are not entitled to vote in elections or at meetings, be appointed to committees or be elected to the Council. Affiliates are not entitled to be admitted to Panels or Lists or participate in the Fellowship Programme.
Annual subscription fee - $175.00 incl GST (as at 1 April 2007)
Associate Membership
Associate membership is a qualified status of membership. Applicants wishing to be admitted as Associates must meet the syllabus requirements for Associateship.
The requirements for admission as an Associate are set out in By-Law 5, the Admission Regulations for Associate membership, and the Associate Syllabus.
Associates are entitled to use the designatory letters AAMINZ and to market their services and use the AMINZ logo provided they do so in accordance with the Institute’s By-Laws and marketing protocol. Associates are eligible to vote in elections and at meetings, apply for admission to the Panels and Lists, be appointed to committees, be elected to Council, and enter the Fellowship Programme.
Annual subscription fee - $475.00 incl GST (as at 1 April 2007)
Fellow Membership
Fellow Membership is the Institute’s senior qualification and may be gained in mediation, arbitration or both. Associate membership is a prerequisite for Fellowship. Fellows are entitled to use the designatory letters FAMINZ (Arb) or FAMINZ (Med) or FAMINZ (Arb/Med), whichever applies. Fellowship (Arbitration) is an internationally recognised qualification and holds reciprocal status with Fellows of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK).
