2019 Arbitration Act Amendments

The Arbitration Amendment Bill received its third reading on 1 May 2019.

There are 3 amendments:

  • Clarification of jurisdictional challenges;
  • Clarification of the setting aside and enforcement provisions; and
  • Removal of the quick draw provision for the appointment of the arbitral tribunal

This webinar guides you through step by step to help you to understand and assess court risks. It answers the question of what if the mediation fails? What then?

In this 1.5-hour webinar, David Clark and Mark Kelly will help you confidently assess and analyse the risks of going to court.

  • Classic litigation risk analysis – the law and the evidence;
