Career Summary

1973 - 2002 Residential construction, including design and build.

1997 - present: Registered Building Surveyor. Served on the Executive of the New Zealand Institute of Building Surveyors for several terms, recently elected to "Life Member" status.

2010 - present: Mediator, specialising in family disputes over the last few years.

Contracts with Building Industry Authority, Department of Building and Housing and Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment as consultant/advisor.

Technical Advisor to the Licensed Building Practitioners Board

Graduate Diploma in Restorative Justice, Victoria University, Wellington

Training with both AMINZ and Resolution Institute (formally LEADR), accredited with both as a Family Dispute Resolution Service provider.

Additional training in conflict management coaching, elder mediation and dementia (University of Tasmania)
