Professional Experience

I have been a lawyer for over 25 years, specialising in Family Law since 2004. After regularly using mediation to achieve resolution of clients' disputes in a wide variety of fields, I trained as a mediator and started to conduct mediations in 2009; since then have conducted over 30 in the area of family law. I am also trained and experienced in Collaborative Separation, a process designed for parties to resolve their disputes without using Court proceedings.

As well as currently being an FDR Provider I was previously appointed by the Family Court for lawyer led mediations in parenting disputes. I am on the panel of Lawyer for the child. I have also received appointments to represent infant children in Estate litigation. I am a founding member of the Collaborative Law Association of New Zealand and Chair of the Family Law Section of the NZLS 2017 -
