Until 1996 - Linguist (developing software translation programme);

Since 1996 - Anja has been mediating and working with a variety of people in dispute. She immigrated to New Zealand from Germany in 1982, and graduated with an LLB from Otago in 1994. Since 1996 Anja has been practicing law in Dunedin working in general practice, particularly in family, property, employment and civil dispute resolution. Early involvement with the Community Law Centre and the then Dunedin Community Mediation Incorporated Society has sown the seed of assisting people with a holistic approach to dispute resolution. Anja continues to grow her skills in mediation, including co-mediation, collaborative law, as well as the ongoing provision of family, property, employment, commercial and general legal services. Martin (English Staffordshire dog) provides additional services and support at no extra cost. Mediation sessions take place in a purpose built mediation centre. Anja is a Mediator Panel member of Resolution Institute and AMINZ. She is an approved Family Dispute Resolution provider and a member of Collaborative Advocacy New Zealand. Anja is a member of the Elder Mediation Australian Network (EMAN).She is particularly interested in working with people in dispute and to facilitate dispute resolution as an opportunity for growth. Most recently Anja has become enthusiastic about facilitating on-line dispute resolution. Anja welcomes any type of dispute resolution work and is happy to provide a quote for services.
