Professional Experience

Tim is a Director and mediator with Collaborative Solutions and has been working in Alternative Dispute Resolution since 1986. He now specialises almost entirely in mediation, facilitation and training. Tim's experience in mediation includes resource management, Local Government, Te Ture Whenua Maori, organisational disputes and commercial and contract issues along with significant experience in facilitating processes of community engagement and restorative justice. Tim was an inaugural member of, and is the immediate past Chairperson of, 'Restorative Justice Aotearoa', the national association of restorative justice providers.

Appointments

As a mediator and facilitator for Collaborative Solutions, Tim is a provider of mediation and facilitation services to the Environmental Protection Authority under their panel of preferred providers.

Tim Clarke Collaborative Solutions provides Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) mediation in the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Lakes and King Country regions.

Tim is also on the mediation panel for Internet New Zealand and is contracted to provide mediation and training services to the Ministry of Education.

Tim has also worked as a Disputes Tribunal Referee, had three years' experience of teaching Dispute Resolution at Waikato University's School of Law, and has worked as a contract trainer for LEADR.
