Director of Brown Glassford & Company Limited, a large accounting practice in Christchurch which specialises in Agri Businesses with clients throughout New Zealand. I work in all areas of New Zealand but primarily in the South Island.
Over the last 35 years, I have specialised in rural and agricultural businesses and the issues that affect them. This has involved dispute resolution and mediation as well as advocating for parties in these forums. I have also served as an expert witness in court cases.
My experience includes business advice, farm accounting, family succession, leasing, dispute resolution, share milking contracts and the formation of farming syndicates.
I was born and raised in Central Otago and the Agricultural sector has always been my main passion. I am well qualified to resolve issues and mediate disputes in this area of business.
I worked in Rural Banking and held a qualification in Rural Valuation, before working for Coopers & Lybrand as an accountant. In 1991 I started my own practice, and am currently a Director of Brown Glassford & Co Limited which was formed when I merged my practice with Graham Brown.
