AMINZ selected as finalist in national awards
AMINZ has been named as a finalist in a major category of one of the country’s most prestigious corporate awards.
The Institute was selected this week as a finalist in the 2015 AUT Faculty of Business and Law Excellence in Business Support Awards.
Recognised for excellence in the not-for-profit category, AMINZ will join finalists across ten categories at this year’s awards.
“AMINZ has worked resolutely to be the pre-eminent provider of dispute resolution support services in New Zealand and to be internationally recognised as a centre of excellence,” Executive Director Deborah Hart says.
“The selection of AMINZ as a finalist in the AUT Excellence in Business Support Awards underscores the work of AMINZ in supporting the businesses and work of its growing number of members.”
“The importance of excellent business support runs through everything we do in the AUT Faculty of Business and Law, from teaching to research to cooperative education and industry engagement,” says AUT University Dean of Business and Law, Professor Geoff Perry.
Now into their 10th year the AUT Excellence in Business Support Awards is the only national performance measure for New Zealand business support organisations.
Also selected as a finalist, but in the under $5M management services category is AMINZ member John Green’s New Zealand Dispute Resolution Centre.
Winners of the ten category awards and the supreme award will be named at a gala dinner on 29 October.
The other finalists in the not-for-profit category include Tourism Industry Association New Zealand and EEO Trust (Equal Employment Opportunities Trust).
