Tikanga complaint ‘misplaced’
AMINZ was recently mentioned in the Capital Letter for our support of weaving tikanga Māori into the fabric of legal education in Aotearoa. Our stance remains firm that integrating te ao Māori and tikanga Māori into the New Zealand legal education curriculum is crucial for creating a culturally inclusive legal system. This inclusion will enrich the knowledge and practice of all members, including those who are not lawyers.
